Stumbled across this article by accident! I have a Simian crease on both palms, so does my mother and so does my eldest son.

I have had no illnesses (now 49 years old), got an honours degree in Electronics Engineering and my 11 year-old son is top of his class in many subjects. My second son has no Simian creases and is also very bright.

Hmm, very interesting. While I agree with some of your analysis, I don’t agree with the basic idea that the simian line shows giftedness. Yes it does show a strong strength or purpose. In any case I do not see why give so much importance to these lines, when they are on her left hand and she is clearly right handed. She was born with the simian line qualities but she has changed now. As far as I know she is almost sixty, and therefore any traces of her inherited qualities must have gone. Her right hand shows this clearly.

Pete, There is a lot of misinformation about the Simian Crease. While there are many medical issues that can be indicated by the Simian Crease, there are also a great many perfectly healthy individuals walking around with a single palmar crease on one or both hands. Don’t assume the worst. Unless there is a history of genetic disorders in your family, smile, be happy, and assume that you and your son are some of the gifted ones.

Hi, I too have a simian line on my left hand, I have no idea what it means, i 32 years old, I have just had my first son, and he shows it on his right hand, everyone comments on what an old soul he seems, all i read is how it can mean bad things to health etc, so its a little worrying! where can i find actual information that wont scare the hell out of me?

Thank-you for this very well-written article about Hillary. Palmistry has been a bit of a hobby for me and I felt that you did a brilliant job of analysing, integrating and communicating this information in an easily accessible manner.

How would you suggest that Hillary integrate her public and private persona? I think that empathic people are often the recipients of others\’ projections. If she had less understanding and compassion, ironically she\’d probably be seen as being \’nicer\’.

Sheila, that\’s an interesting observation. I agree that tends to be true, and it definitely complicates things for Hillary. There\’s no one answer on how she can integrate her public and private selves. But I will say this: it would require her to fire all advisors and be willing to be vulnerable on the public stage. The only politician I have ever observed who was willing to do that is Dennis Kucinich, and look what happened to him.

I wish that Hillary’s intuitive side would come out more in the public arena. I am waiting for the precision and intellectual mind to come out in the years to come as she continues as a senator. I would like to see her make a historical contribution to make a stunning change in government or history.
I have some of the same lines as hillary. I study palmistry also. Your reading was extremely insightful of hillary and descriptive of my life’s pursuits and intellectual intensity.
