Which School of Life is your soul enrolled in this lifetime? The answer is coded in your fingerprints.
In the system of hand reading that I use, it is believed that the code to the soul’s purpose is found in the fingerprints. Our fingerprints never change during our lifetime, and they are fully formed 5 months before we are born.
I like to think that the soul, as it is developing along with our bodies, takes those first 4 months to assess the life it will be living. It looks at who will be its parents, where it will be living, what is happening in the world at large, and then, after an assessment of its karmic to-do list, checks off those items which it feels it can tackle in this particular life.
The fingerprints then are coded with the soul’s agenda, only to be revealed when the human meets a hand reader trained in Life Purpose analysis.
From an inspection of your fingerprints, a trained reader can tell you what your soul deemed the most important thing you came to do this lifetime, or your Life Purpose. It also can tell you your least developed skill prior to birth. This is your Life Lesson and will be the biggest obstacle to actualizing your purpose.
A third factor that is coded into the fingerprints is your School of Life. The School of Life that you chose colors and informs both your Purpose and your Lesson. It represents the base principle that needs to be in balance in order for you to make karmic progress.
For most people, it is simple to decode the School of Life. There are some cases where the karmic script is a little more complex and therefore the soul may have decided to study in two Schools (double major in life), or combine the Schools in such a way that they are unique to that soul. In that case it can be a little more difficult for the untrained to determine the School of Life. But for most of us, the following handy dandy guide can be used to diagnose this aspect of the fingerprint code.
This fingerprint type is known as the Whorl. This fingerprint is associated with the principle of action. If you have four or more fingerprints like this, you are in the School of Service. You are here to balance giving to others and taking care of yourself. People in the school of service often need to gain understanding of their own needs before they can help to fulfill those of others, making a contribution to the well-being of the world.
This fingerprint is known as the Loop. It is the most common fingerprint and is associated with the feeling principle. If you have eight or more fingerprints like this, you are in the School of Love. You are here to get in touch with feelings and find emotional freedom. People in the School of Love are here to develop genuine, healthy and lasting relationships and to practice unconditional love for self and others.
This fingerprint is known as the Tented Arch. It is the fingerprint associated with the mental principle. If you have two or more fingerprints like this, you are in the School of Wisdom. You are here to take risks and share what you know. People in the School of Wisdom often battle self-doubt and an unrealistic desire to be perfect. When they take the leap and share their innate wisdom with others, they find their passions ignited and their need for validation satisfied from the inside out.
This fingerprint is known as the simple Arch and is associated with the principle of being. If you have two or more fingerprints like this, you are in the School of Peace. You are here to find joy in everyday living and feel grounded on the earth. People in the School of Peace often worry about the future. They are here to learn to go with the flow and have fun. Once a person in this school begins to welcome change and trust the process of living, they can feel peaceful, secure and worthy of life’s abundance.
The four Schools of Life can be likened to the division of four found in many esoteric systems. There are the four directions, the four elements, the four suits of the tarot, and Jung’s four ego functions, to name a few. I associate the School of Service with the element of fire, Love with water, Wisdom with air, and Peace with earth.
Remember, the School of Life is only one part of the powerful code contained in your fingerprints. Stay tuned to this blog for more articles on the fingerprint code as well as its relation to the karmic aspects of the astrological chart.
For those of you in the Pacific Northwest, I will be teaching an intensive workshop on the basics of hand reading and the system for decoding the fingerprints in January of 2007. Established by Richard Unger of the IIHA, this sytem has yet to be published in any book, so this is a unique opportunity to learn. If you’d like more information about the workshop, feel free to contact me.
