Propaganda by Rob Morrison - Monday, August 28, 2006

My Merriam-Webster's defines propaganda as "the spreading of ideas or information to further or damage a cause." Apparently, our government is willing to pay big bucks (our tax dollars) for some good, old-fashioned information spreading.

According to several published reports, U.S. military leaders in Baghdad are offering a two-year, $20 million public relations contract in an effort to promote more positive coverage of news from Iraq. The deadline for bids is Wednesday.
